George Mfegue is greedy for goals and is determined to swell his Asante Kotoko numbers after his brace in the Kumasi derby last Sunday.
Our Cameroonian new arrival scored twice in our 3-2 defeat to King Faisal, heading home twice in the second half.
Mfegue is unhappy that his goals could not fetch us the three points but is elated to have opened his goal accounts and is also eager to score more.
“I am happy that I scored not just once but twice on the day”, says the forward. “Goals are part of the reasons I am here and so I am elated that I showed people; the fans that I have that quality”
“I wish to score more goals in the coming games and most importantly help my team to win.”
“It would have been an excellent day for me if we had won, but sadly we didn’t and that puts a dent on my goals but we have moved now.”
