Ghana Premier League winners Asante Kotoko will officially be crowned 2021-2022 champions after they take on relegated Elmina Sharks in their matchday 33 fixture at the Babayara sports stadium on Sunday evening

The Porcupine Warriors won their 26 league titles after drawing a 1-1 against Ashanti Gold SC in matchday 28 fixture which was played two weeks ago, we’ve since beaten Great Olympics 1-0 at the Accra sports stadium with our boys showing professionalism and holding up sporting integrity.

unlike our away form, our home form has been a worrying phenomenon this season and Prosper Ogum and his charges will want to end their last home game to finish the season on a high by winning

Elmina Sharks have been a torn in our flesh in recent times, we are yet to win a game against them in our last three meetings, they did the double over us last season and inflicted our second away defeat this season,

Our technical team are aware of this and will map up a system and tactics to neutralize their threats and exploit their weaknesses to punish them.

• League leaders

• Technical Head: Prosper Ogum Nartey

• Captain: Ismael Ganiu Abdul

• Head coach:

• Captain: Isaac Donkoh

Well-drilled and tactical supremacy has helped us from the start of the season, we are defeated in only five (5) games, nine (9) draws, and eighteen (18) wins, we’ve scored forty-four (44) goals and conceded nineteen (19) goals the best in the league but we can still improve in our last two games, meanwhile Elmina Sharks after 33 games, they’ve amassed twenty-two (22) points, scoring twenty-two (22) and conceding firty-two (52) goals

The injuries situation has been a serious threat to our title ambition all season but thankfully Ogum has been able to make the best out of the remaining players, we will go into this game without midfield maestro Justice Blay who might not play again this season after undergoing a successful surgery some months ago, talented winger, Isaac Oppong has also been ruled out of the season months ago, Clinton Opoku, young goalkeeper Rauf are all out of the game, Yusif Mubarik and Stephen Amankona suffered some illness and haven’t played in our last four games, the doctors will pass a lateness test on them before the game, Andy Kumi who hasn’t kicked a ball this season is in contention after showing signs of top form at the training grounds, our Skipper Abdul Ganiu returned to training this week and will be assessed before the game Patrick Asmah won’t play any part after he got suspended for the rest of the season for indiscipline, whereas Augustine Agyapong is on the National team duties

The last time the two sides met, it ended in a 2-1 in their favor
