Emmanuel Gyamfi was ‘disappointed’ after the Porcupines left Akoon Park with just a point, following an improved display. After a scrappy first 45 minutes with few chances for either side, Kwame Opoku extended his Premier League goal tally to three in the 74th minute, before Abbas Mohammed levelled up for Medeama SC from a controversial 85th-minute spot-kick. Despite the understandable disappointment following the late equaliser, Gyamfi was pleased with the majority of the Porcupines display. “We were disappointed to come away with only a point after taking the lead,” the winger said at a post-match press conference. “What disappointed me the most was that there was an earlier handball before the ball touched our player, but the referee ignored theirs and gave a penalty for ours.' “The positive is that we possessed and passed the ball very well, and we will train harder to improve in those areas and also score more."
